Free Siddha Medical Camps at Tiruvannamalai Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam has been always committed to providing services to the common man. Of the various services, Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam has been constantly providing free medical care to thousands of people every week at various places where the Mission exists. Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam, Tiruvannamalai has been serving thousands of devotees, sadhus (mendicants) and visitors with free medical camps every week. Lakhs of rupees worth Siddha medicines are being provided constantly to devotees and anyone who visits the ashram in Tiruvannamalai. Just on one day of every Poornima (full moon day), at the least 2500 people are served siddha medicines. People throng the ashram from 5 am in the morning and our Siddha doctors serve at least Rs. 3.5 lakhs worth of medicines every full moon day. How you can help? Bilvarchana is a potent ritual for propitiating Lord Shiva (Nithyanandeshwara), the destroyer of negative energies. Bilvaarchana is performed by chanting of the many names of Lord Shiva. Each repetition is accompanied by the symbolic offering of a bilvapatra, a medicinal leaf which is considered dear to the Lord.
The Nithyanandeshwara temple in the Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam blissfully announces our plan to have the Utsava Murthi of Sri Nithyanandeshwara and Sri Nithyanandeshwari, the main deities in the temple. Sri Nithyanandeshwara and Sri Nithyanandeshwari together indicate the interlinking of the cosmic active and passive energies. The Cosmic completeness happens only when the energies complement each other.
The Cow is revered as the most sacred animal to Hindus, a fact that is evidenced by the dedication of several hymns and rituals, reverentially addressing it as ‘GOMATHA’ (divine mother cow) in all the sacred scriptures including Vedas and Puranas. From the Vedic period to this day, gifting or donating cows to deserving persons, was considered a very sacred act and a way to wash away all the sins , karmas and samskaras of the past births and present births.
