Bhagavad Gita – Karma Yoga Chapter 3: Verse 21 yad yad acarati sresthas tat tad evetaro janah sa yat pramanam kurute lokas tad anuvartate || 3.21 Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. The Gita was imparted by the enlightened Hindu incarnation Sri Krishna to the warrior-prince Arjuna over 5000 years ago. Amazingly, the spiritual wisdom and life solutions offered in the Gita are so universal and current that it is even today used as a personal transformation guide In today’s talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 3, Verse 21, Paramahamsa Nithyananda reveals that each of us is inwardly a leader. He goes on to advise us that if we desire the privileges of leadership, we must commit to the responsibilities as well. Once we have prominence and authority we become role models for those we lead. Furthermore, our personal inclinations are surrendered to the greater needs of the whole: our conduct sets the bar for the community. He adds that no matter how impeccable we are, we still must take the consequences for any bad behaviour. One thousand good actions do not excuse or cancel out one bad action.
