Bhagavad Gita – Karma Yoga
Chapter 3: Verse 29
prakrter guna-sammudhah sajjante guna-karmasu
tan akrtsna-vido mandan krtsna-vin na vicalayet || 3.29
Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. The Gita was imparted by the enlightened Hindu incarnation Sri Krishna to the warrior-prince Arjuna over 5000 years ago. Amazingly, the spiritual wisdom and life solutions offered in the Gita are so universal and current that it is even today used as a personal transformation guide
In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 3, Verse 29, Paramahamsa Nithyananda confers the ultimate key for enlightenment now: for living enlightenment while we pursue our daily lives. As we know, the biggest obstacle to spiritual realization for most seekers is that we lose awareness of deep truths and divine wisdom when we become embroiled in mundane tasks. Paramahamsa assures us that his message of Living Enlightenment -- of conducting an illuminated existence while still maintaining our daily lives -- is not a myth or an unattainable dream. Today he gives us a specific breathing technique to bring this dream into reality. Using daily practice of the one-thousand-two-hundred-long breath supports our development of samana, energy that lifts our consciousness to its highest frequency. When we acquire deep insights, our brains evolve new grooves to hold that information. The samana seals those grooves so they become a permanent shift for us, and seals in the information as well. Thus, we move toward a lifestyle where we can manage our daily business while simultaneously remembering our divine inspiration. This is indeed Jeevan Mukti: we explode into Living Enlightenment.
