Discharge petitions filed by Lenin Karuppan and Arathi Rao, the main accused in the conspiracy against Swami Nithyananda Dismissed

In a significant development related to actress Ranjitha who was alleged to be in a video with Swami Nithyananda in 2010, the discharge petitions filed by Lenin Karuppan and Arathi Rao, the main accused in the conspiracy were dismissed by the Principal Sessions Court Ramanagara.
Prior to this, the Hon’ble High Court of Karnataka had dismissed the quash applications filed by the accused Lenin Karuppan and Arathi Rao.
As a part of a major conspiracy against Swami Nithyananda, Lenin Karuppan abetted by his associates had filed the false case against Swami Nithyananda in 2010 on the basis of a video allegedly with Ranjitha. Ranjitha’s complaint against Lenin and his associates brings to light the criminal acts of sexual assault, criminal intimidation, extortion among other offences.
Lenin Karuppan and Arathi Rao are currently facing prosecution for other crimes of blackmail, extortion and criminal conspiracy by them against Ranjitha and Swami Nithyananda in the trial Court in Chennai.
