Paramahamsa Nithyananda Swami awarded with Doctorate of Humanities (Honoris Causa) by Commonwealth University

At the graduation ceremony of the Commonwealth University held on the 31st of May 2018, Paramahamsa Nithyananda was awarded with a Docotorate of Humanities (Honoris Causa) by the Chancellor and Academic Council of the Commonwealth University - Belize.

He received a citation which lauded His accomplishments and His mission as the living incarnation of Mahasadashiva - as the reviver of Veda-Agamas to give a superconscious breakthrough to humanity, and awaken extraordinary Shaktis in human beings.

It also cited the scale and grandeur of His mission and organisation Nithyananda Peetham, which has a worldwide presence in 196 countries and over 20 million followers, an established University and Gurukul.

Also cited was His role as the spiritual leader - as Mahamandaleshwar of the Mahanirvani Akhada, the oldest apex body of Hinduism - and as Madhathipathi of several ancient Mutts in India.

The University lauded Paramahamsa Nithyananda's humanitarian, peace efforts and social contributions citing the Minute4Peace initiative, Annalaya - camps offering free food to millions, spiritual healing and efforts in providing disaster relief.
