FIR registered against Suvarna News 24x7 for serious offences leading to breach of peace through inciting communal violence

On 9th March 2013, Mr. A.C. Narendran, a devotee of Sri Nithyananda Swami, filed a complaint which was registered as FIR at the High Grounds Police Station in Cr. No. 0081/2013, against Vishweshwara Bhatta, Chief Editor, Suvarna News; Ranganath Bharadwaj, News Editor, Suvarna News; Ajit Hanumakkanavar, Crime Reporter, Suvarna News; and others.

This FIR has been registered for serious offences u/s 153, 295(A), 298, 107, 506 (B), 120 B, 34 of IPC, leading to breach of peace by provoking one sect of people against another. 

This crime is a continuation of the continuous vengeful onslaught of Suvarna TV on Sri Nithyananda Swami, the most recent one being an open, blatant show of violence on a panel discussion where the panelist wielding a chopper openly issued a threat to life to Sri Nithyananda Swami and his followers.
