TRANSLATION
One should with effort place the upward facing feet on the thighs, and place the upward-facing palms between the thighs.
Concentrating on the tip of the nose, keep the tongue pressed on the upper teeth, press the chin on your chest, push the air slowly upward, that is slowly pull the prana upward.
This asana called as Padmaasana destroys all diseases, filled with power. Though difficult to be obtained by everyone, some intelligent people learn it.
TECHNIQUE
- Place the right foot on the left thigh
- Now place the left foot on the right thigh
- Place the hands between the thighs with the palms facing upwards
- Concentrating on the tip of the nose, keep the tongue pressed on the upper teeth
- Press the chin on your chest, push the air slowly upward
- Exhale slowly
- Do this 3 times and release the chin on your chest and tongue pressed on the upper teeths

TRANSLATION
One should exhale and then hold the breath as per the Guru’s instruction. Repeated performance of the rechaka is known as Svanga Shrunkhala Kumbhaka.
TECHNIQUE
- Exhale completely
- Hold the breath outside as long as possible
- When you cannot hold any more, allow the body to inhale by itself
- Again exhale and hold the breath
- Hold the breath outside as long as possible
- Do this 21 times

TRANSLATION
One should fill in the air sumptuously in his lungs and then adopt Jalandhara Bandha(EXPLAINED BELOW) firmly. If one lies on water it is called Plavini Kumbhaka.
TECHNIQUE
- Inhale completely
- Contract the throat and rest your chin on the chest
- Hold as long as you can
- When you can't hold anymore, Release the throat lock and exhale slowly
- Do this 21 times

TRANSLATION
One should retain the inhaled breath by performing Jalandhara Bandha. Then he should slowly exhale in this Jalandhara Bandha itself. It is called Moorchana Pranayama. It conferes bliss by reducing the (Thoughts Per Second)TPS level.
TECHNIQUE
- Sit in same asana and close the eyes
- Inhale slowly and deeply through both nostrils
- After inhaling, immediately Do Jalandhara Bandha by putting your chin on the chest and locking the throat
- Hold the breath as long as you can
- When you can't hold anymore, Exhale through both nostrils in a very controlled manner in Jaalandhara bandha itself
- Do this 21 times
